Shalu is the Vice President of Performance and Business Intelligence at Trillium Health Partners (THP) and is accountable for advancing the development of an enterprise health data strategy and roadmap. The Performance and Business
Intelligence portfolio designs, architects, governs and deploys health data infrastructure, analytics and performance insights to achieve clinical and operational excellence, population health research and innovation.

Shalu joined THP in 2010 prior to the merger of Credit Valley Hospital and Trillium Health Centre, and has held a variety of progressive leadership roles including Director Medical Administration, Director Quality and Patient Safety, Director Operational Effectiveness. She has led the coordination, prioritization, and execution of cross-business initiatives and integrated business analytics to inform operational and capacity planning, decision making, and performance monitoring.

She has a wealth of experience in health system performance and leading analytical and project teams in solving complex business problems and priorities. Prior to joining THP, Shalu was the Manager of Access to Care Informatics at Cancer Care Ontario where she was responsible for the development and execution of the initial provincial Wait Times Reporting and Analysis Plan.

Shalu holds a Master Certificate in Analytics for Leaders, a Master in Health Administration and is a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders
