Andre D’Penha is a project management professional with eighteen years of experience in the Canadian healthcare, retail, and automotive industries.
Andre is currently the Director, Data Strategy, Governance & Analytics at Toronto’s University Health Network (UHN), and is responsible for advancing UHN’s data governance maturity and data literacy, as well as accelerating the use of applied analytics to derive insights and support decisions in care and operations.
Andre has fourteen and a half years of service at UHN, during which he has successfully implemented clinical, quality improvement, analytics, and data governance projects. He has also won numerous awards for his project management accomplishments, including the 2018 PMI Award for Project Excellence – North America, the 2015 PMI Award for Project Excellence – North America, the 2017 Business Transformation & Operational Excellence Award for Best Achievement of Operational Excellence in Healthcare, and the 2017 3M Health Care Quality Team Award.
