Matthew Murphy is the Director of Performance, Analytics and Accountability with NS Health, as well as a member of the Board of Directors for the RK MacDonald Nursing Home. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a Master’s of Applied Health Services Research from Dalhousie University, is a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders and an EXTRA Fellow with Healthcare Excellence Canada (formerly CFHI). Matthew’s main interests are in organizational strategic planning and performance, and furthering the use of evidence-based decision making within healthcare by turning data into actionable insight. Matthew lives in Antigonish, NS, with his wife Nicole, a talented psychiatric mental health nurse, and their Boston Terrier, Petey, who’s talent lies more in the field of “fetch”, than healthcare.
