Mark Lowerison is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of B153 Ltd., a company that helps businesses launch data science initiatives, operationalize internal data teams and develop data science and data analytics processes. When not busy keeping B153’s client list moving forward, Mark also serves on a short list of board and advisory roles in a group of early and mid-stage health technology companies.
Prior to starting his own companies, Mark enjoyed a 20-year career in a variety of research support roles at the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine’s Clinical Research Unit, and at the University of Guelph School of Veterinary Medicine’s Comparative Orthopedic Research Lab. In these roles Mark gained diverse experience with a broad set of data and analytics topics and designs.
Mark is an avid equestrian and minor hockey coach; he loves spending time on the ice with his two boys while helping out with their respective hockey teams.
